Joining MASF

Ahoy there!

Well Daniel and myself have now joined the Maritime Aviation Support Force down at RNAS Culdrose and so far everything is still pretty hazey- In the Logistics Supply Chain Branch there are only 3 members- Leading Logistician (LLOGS)"Singe" Daily (The department co-ordinator for the time being untill he goes on draft some time soon to be replaced by a Petty Officer (PO) ), Daniel and one other Able Logistician although he hasn't yet arrived. Unfortunatly details on what's happening over the next few weeks are still pretty sketchy, what we do know is that this week has been all about the ships induction- getting to know the other people we'll be working with (don't worry- I'll try and get pictures of these lovely people) and what life onboard will be like- every now and then I'll get Daniel to write something about how living on an RFA ship compares to living on a normal navy ship, I've heard its really chushy though- instead of 50 man rooms the worst accomadation on this ship will be a four man room! Luxery or what?!
We're due to move onto the ship in early October but I'm definatly not going to hold my breath (mainly cause I don't need to breath he he) as the people who own the ship hav'nt spent as much money as they said that they were originally going to- like skipping on some of the layers of paint being added.

P.s. theres a new picture of me on Daniel's facebook profile here http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/photo.php?pid=8764851&id=619080502&comments&alert
